The City of Starkville Mayor and Board of Aldermen approved the necessary change of operating hours with the Sanitation Department.
Hours will now begin at 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This change has been made because of the extreme heat indexes.
The new hours will begin July 26, 2010. Office operations will continue from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This change will continue until further notice from the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
