Starkville offers many different religions, civic and volunteer organizations in which residents may become involved.

RELIGION

Starkville's religious life is both sincere and diverse with over 80 houses of worship representing numerous religious denominations and independent congregations. Because Mississippi State University brings a constant influx of diverse nationalities, the community has adapted and does accommodate almost all religious traditions. Cooperative interdenominational services are held during such special seasons as Christmas, Easter & Thanksgiving. Whatever, the faith, and whatever the level of involvement, Starkville area churches provide an opportunity for enrichment and spiritual growth to all citizens.
