COUNTY HOSPITAL
Located at 400 Hospital Road in Starkville, Oktibbeha County Hospital
is a progressive medical facility offering state-of-the-art services.
The OCH medical
staff includes more than 90 physicians with specialties including
obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics,
gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT), ophthalmology and urology.
Numerous specialized services such as outpatient surgery, cardiac
rehabilitation, sports medicine and rehabilitation, speech therapy,
nuclear medicine studies, physical therapy, respiratory therapy,
occupational therapy, sleep studies, bone density scanning and labor
and delivery are offered at OCH.
The hospital's
radiology department, which is certified by the American College
of Radiology, offers CT scanning, MRI, ultrasound and mammography
services. In addition to general surgery, specialized procedures
such as oral surgery, total joint replacement, carpal tunnel release

OCH's paramedic
ambulance service provides area residents access to the highest
level of pre-hospital emergency care available. These emergency
medical providers work hand-in-hand with the OCH Emergency Room,
which is open and staffed with a physician and nurses 24 hours a

sibling education classes help prepare couples and children for
