HEALTHCARE

The OCH medical staff includes more than 90 physicians with specialties including obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT), ophthalmology and urology. Numerous specialized services such as outpatient surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, sports medicine and rehabilitation, speech therapy, nuclear medicine studies, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, sleep studies, bone density scanning and labor and delivery are offered at OCH.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Starkville offers many different religions, civic and volunteer organizations in which residents may become involved as well as numerous other civic, volunteer service and special interest organizations ranging from veterans groups to arts associations.

RECREATION

The Starkville Parks & Recreation Department maintains 6 city parks which include 2 swimming pools, tennis and racquetball courts, baseball, softball and soccer fields, and play areas for small children.

The Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, located 13 miles south of Starkville is a 48,000 acre waterfoul refuge with 2 lakes, nature trails and bird sanctuary.

Enjoy the arts through the Starkville Community Theater Company, the Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, or MSU's anneal Lyceum series.
