2007 Kids Summer Activities At The Sportsplex
June
Kids Crafts: Mondays 10-12am Activities
Room $20 boys & girls ages 5-12yrs. Projects include: leather crafts
(bracelets & keychains), ceramics (turtle), making magnets& pictures frames
Creative Crafts: Wednesdays 10-12pm
Activities Room Fee$20 boys & girls ages 5-12yrs. projects include ceramics
(frog), clay modeling, making garden stakes and rain gages & wikki stix (a
lot of fun)
Beginners Tennis Camp: June 18th
-21st Meets at Starkville High Tennis Courts 8:30-10am Fee $35
boys & girls ages 7-13yrs. Basic Techniques on serving & hitting the ball,
rules of the game and scoring Please bring tennis racket
Ceramic Class: Fridays June 8th
& 15th ages 7-13 yrs 10-11:30am Fee $25 Project: Drinking
Pitcher. Great keepsake or gift for mom!! Painting with ceramic glazes to
make a beautiful design on the pitcher. Will be able to use after it is
complete.
Ceramic Class: Fridays June 22nd
& 29th 10-11:30 am ages 7-13 yrs Fee $20 Project: Birdhouse
Painting with ceramic glazes. Cute when complete.
July
Kids Camp July 9th -13th
8-12pm Activities Room $50 boys & girls ages:5-12yrs Projects include:
ceramics, clay, making bracelets, wood projects ,suncatchers and more. Lots
of Fun!!!
Ceramics Class July 18th and
20th 10-11:30 am Activities Room Ages 8-13yrs Fee:$25
Project: 2 Lizards Great for hanging on the wall of a patio or childs
room. Painting with ceramic glazes. Great project when complete.
Sign up for any of these classes at the
Sportsplex office before the class begins More info call 323-2294 All
classes meet in the Sportsplex activities room.
