File an Online Police Report

The Starkville Police Department values your needs and concerns.  We want to opportunity to continue serving you and also make it easier and convenient for you to file a non-emergency police.  After completing the necessary information you will receive a report tracking number.

Things to know when filing a report:

-Did it occur within the City Limits of Starkville, MS?
-Is this incident a non-emergency?
-Current address and phone number?
-Suspect(s) information or description. (if applicable)
-Evidence supporting your report.

- Identity Theft
- Civil Dispute
- Loss/Stolen Property
- Property Damage
- Trespassing
- Credit Card Fraud
- Non- Domestic Simple Assault (no weapons or serious injury)
- Telephone Harassment
- Stalking
What happens next?

- All cases filed using the Citizens Online Reporting System will be reviewed.

- Upon review, you will be contacted by a member of the Starkville Police Department.

- Once your online report is approved, you will receive an email with your report number and a copy of your online report to print.

-Were you involved in a traffic collision?
-Did serious physical injury occur?
-Did the crime involve the use or threat of a weapon/gun/knife, etc?
-Is the incident domestic in nature?
-Was the crime sexual in nature?
If all of the above information applies, you are ready to file your report online.
