I run very early every morning (around 4am because of my work schedule). I love running in Starkville because I always feel safe, especially with my 2 dogs. The only problem is that sometimes I have to use the bathroom midrun and there is no place that is open or a public bathroom anywhere. I think it would be a good idea to set up a small bathroom at a park or near campus or something, I'm sure there are others who would benefit from it as well. Especially on game day when Starkville get crowded and everyone if out drinking and eating.

Dogs are wonderful. I have two. But dog owners need to be more responsible about cleaning up dog waste. Walk around Starkville; it's covered in dog poop. That can change. LOTs of towns have...

Dogs are wonderful. I have two. But dog owners need to be more responsible about cleaning up dog waste. Walk around Starkville; it's covered in dog poop. That can change. LOTs of towns have ordinances requiring (and thus encouraging) owners to "scoop the poop." We need one. And to go along with that (and encourage responsible pet ownership) we need many more trash cans around downtown Starkville (not just on the main st).
